Tasmania’s next generation of midwives is in training!A cohort of 29 registered nurses has started the University of Tasmania’s Graduate Diploma of Midwifery, helping grow the state’s maternity workforce through a partnership with the Tasmanian Department of Health.The program combines paid employment in maternity services, clinical experience and intensive training to build essential midwifery skills.
